Dragonfly Dream Collage Stitchery Pattern

Posted by warmheart Friday, November 6, 2009 1 comments

Just finished another pattern. Just like all my patterns, it includes detailed, easy to follow instructions explaining how to transfer and stitch the design onto seeded homespun. A full sized stitching pattern template and a complete requirements list is also included along with close-up photos of the finished piece. I love this whimsical stitchery as it incorporates appliqué and collage techniques. The colours can be changed to suit your personal preferences. It can be framed, used as a centre panel in a quilt or made into a bag or cushion. Finished stitchery size: 9x7.5 inches.

You can instantly download it from all things country'n'prim or visit my website warmheart craft to purchase a paper pattern or a cheaper emailed version. I have it listed on ebay and etsy too - all bases covered. ...

Now I must get stuck into some christmas crafting.

My Room wall Quilt Pattern

Posted by warmheart Sunday, October 25, 2009 0 comments

Just finished this little quilt for my niece and have listed the pattern on my sites.

all things country'n'prim for automatic download, warmheart craft if you would like an emailed version and paper patterns can be purchased through that site too or through ebay.

This little wall quilt gives a personal touch to any room – Sophie is hanging hers on her door and my daughter has hers hanging above her bed. It would look good as a cushion for the bed too. The pattern includes all the letters of the alphabet with instructions to make a quilt with the name of your choice. Change the fabric colours to match your decore and you have a truly personalised piece. My Finished quilt size: 13x10 inches.

Paperkins

Just listed some cute paper piecing paperkins dolls from EK Success at my store - warmheart craft. They are not in production any longer so I will not be restocking these. They are quite rare and are collectables. They are acid and lignin free so make great scrapbooking embellishments. Check them out in my papercrafts section of the store.

Just added two new prim Patterns to my websites. I designed a painted stitchery and then used it in a small wall quilt. I am quite happy with them and they look great hanging on my wall.

Free Creativity e-course

Posted by warmheart Tuesday, July 21, 2009 0 comments

Hey I just signed up for a free e-course at Expressive Art Workshops and I thought I would share the link as it looks so good.

The course offers a Deepening of Creativity because too often we can approach creativity as just another accomplishment instead of a means of unfolding into our true selves. Most creativity is about expressing what we want to know about ourselves and how we want to be seen. Spontaneous collage taps into the unconscious mind and tells you what you do not know about yourself.

This mini course involves meditating on a small, torn paper spontaneous collage each day for ten days. Every second day for 10 days you will receive an e-mail that will encourage towards deeper self-knowledge through spontaneous collage.

New Handmade Cards

Posted by warmheart Monday, July 20, 2009 0 comments

Yes - more cards! I have been busy getting my other blog set up - it's all on handmade cards and other papercrafts. While doing that I stumbled across some sites that run challenges and competitions and well I just could not resist. Here is one of the cards I entered. More details can be found at my warmheart cards blog.
I was so happy with my new blog that I thought I had better spruce up this one. I like it and still have plans to do a little more - it sure can get addictive and is very time consuming. ... but so much fun!
