Papercrafts

Posted by Janelle Tuesday, June 30, 2009 0 comments

Well our card making workshop was alot of fun and everyone made some lovely cards - even the kids got involved. It has inspired me to get the papercrafts section of my website organised. I have been listing beads but will now get the papercrafts online and hopefully make some time to create some new card designs for you. Time... I never have enough!

Card Making

Posted by Janelle Tuesday, June 16, 2009 0 comments

I have been busy making greeting cards for a beginner's workshop I am teaching on the weekend. It is such a relaxing way to spend your time. I have not made any cards for some time now and my basket of handmade cards was certainly getting low. Now it is all stocked up and ready to go.
Feel free to copy these ideas.

Prim Wool sheep

Posted by Janelle Friday, June 5, 2009 0 comments

I just finished my new prim sheep. I made a few of these from different fabrics but my favourite was an old worn wool blanket. I stressed and dyed it and it makes this little fellow feel so nice. Of course - what better fabric for sheep than wool!

I also made some in towelling, flannel and chenille. They all looked good.

Now I just have to write the pattern up and you will find the pattern ready to download on my website: http://www.allthingscountrynprim.com/

About Me

My photo

I have over 15 years experience as an Early Childhood educator with children aged from 3 to 10 years.
I believe learning should be fun and it is so important that a child feels successful in the learning process. With that in mind, I design my teaching resources. They are all tried and tested and very much loved by the children in my care.
